A Christmas Reflection

December 23, 2016

We at Canfield Business Interiors wish all of our customers and friends a happy holiday season.

And to those who, like me, celebrate Christmas, we wish a blessed celebration of the day as our thoughts and focus turn to the newborn Child and his parents, Mary and Joseph.

I pride myself on being a Christian businessman. I make it known throughout the community, often with my clients and the wonderful people on my team, as I believe Christ represents hope for each and every one of us in this world. And it is in this spirit that I share this Christmas reflection.

As we reflect on our real-world daily lives and look forward to a joyous and prosperous 2017, may Christ’s birth help us understand the importance of our Divine life and its role in our daily activities, such as how we treat our neighbors. May his birth also help us to shine a light on our loving families and their importance in all aspects of life.

Christ’s birth can illuminate our gratitude for the life lessons we’ve learned in our time on this earth:

  • It teaches us patience.
  • It teaches us forgiveness.
  • It teaches us how to use hardship in our lives to transform us, so that we are encouraged to help others.
  • It teaches us how to show strength by sharing our joy, and being able and willing to admit our failings and ask forgiveness, even from those closest to us.

On this day of our Lord’s birth, may you discover Christ in your own heart.
